Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples, an American actor and singer from the United States. She was best known for the role of Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012), and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also was in her role as Jerrica Jem for the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. When she was growing up, Aubrey took part in her school's Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. She is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was named valedictory for students of the 2012 class when she completed her studies. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but they later voted to permit her a second entry because she was cast as "Nashville". Peeples played in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally and Ally Alley (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) & NecessaryRoughness (1991) as the Guest Star. Peeples was a part of two TV-produced films, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She joined the cast in an important recurring role on a second season of the drama series Nashville where she played Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in a 2019 interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire identified Peeples as one of the best actors under the age of 20 in September of 2014.
